WRITING
A.J. Mangum has worked as a magazine journalist for nearly 25 years, writing on outdoor, sporting and environmental matters, as well as technology, travel, fine art, agribusiness, and the evolving culture of the contemporary North American West.
His work has appeared in numerous national publications, including Persimmon Hill, Quarter Horse Journal, The Cowboy Way, Eclectic Horseman, ArcUser and Western Horseman. In addition, he has served as the editor of several books, and is the author of the nonfiction collection Undiscovered Country: Dispatches from the American West.
Based in Colorado Springs, A.J. is the editor of Ranch & Reata magazine.
